Tax Preparer for the upcoming tax season. This is a
seasonal contract position with the potential to return each year based on performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable handling sensitive financial information.
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Seasonal hours (weekday and some Saturday availability during peak season)
What You'll Do: - Prepare individual tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Interview clients to gather financial and personal information
- Review tax documents for completeness and accuracy
- Explain tax returns and filing outcomes to clients in a clear, professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all tax regulations and procedures
What We're Looking For: - Previous tax preparation experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good math and data entry skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
