Telecommunications Analyst

Alameda, CA

$90,000 - $105,000

As the Telecommunications Analyst you will collaborate with internal teams and external providers to meet business needs and achieve goals. Reporting to the Sr. IT Support Services Manager , this role requires expertise in networking, telecom, and related systems , along with strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability .

Responsibilities:

• Work with providers to evaluate and recommend telecommunications and data network services
• Assess network capacity and provisioning requirements based on regional input and user specifications
• Interface with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for guidance in determining the most appropriate type of network solution including hardware provisioning
• Work with Regional teams, Program staff, and service providers to determine areas of operation that need equipment and services, such as modems, fiber optic service, telephone (PBX) systems, and cloud-based VoIP
• Communicate with vendors to learn about available products or services
• Develop and write procedures for provisioning hardware, software, and network services
• Track and manage support and maintenance contracts and renewals
• Monitor and manage escalation of vendor and service provider deliverables

Qualifications:

• 5+ years directly related work experience
• PC hardware and software experience
• Bachelor's degree
