Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers for 1st, 2nd and weekend shifts. This program is working with our customer in a research and development program in  Brimley, MI.

The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett Engineering in a professional manner.

Pay rate: $16.00/hr.

Monday - Friday

1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

2nd shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Saturday and Sunday

7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate ability to drive all schedules certified on, with complete schedule integrity and does so on a consistent basis
• Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
• Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Communication skills, verbal and written, are a priority.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years. Have no points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past three years.
• No alcohol or substance related violations within the last 10 years.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time.
• Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.
• Follow directions and execute tasks. Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
• Complete required trainings.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute in a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

 

• 8 to10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends only
