\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling: 6:45 AM-7:15 PM, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM, or 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM start times
\n• Night shifts, Friday through Sunday schedule
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday counted as weekend)
\n• Holiday work expected as part of permanent staff rotation
\n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Trauma experience preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
\n• BSN not required
\n• Patient ratios of 2:1 to 4:1
\n• Handle approximately 250 patient visits per day
\n• Work with 24-bed emergency department with fast track capability
\n• Use Cerner PowerChart EMR system
\n• Scrub color requirement: Blue for RNs
\n• One day of floor-specific orientation provided
\n• Care for patients with STEMI, cardiac conditions, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, DKA, and various acute conditions
\n• Work alongside charge nurses, ER techs, MDs, PAs, and NPs
\n• 22 hardwired GE monitors available in rooms and at nurses station
\n• Support from 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services
\n• Phlebotomists available for lab draws except central lines
Facility:
\nThis acute care medical center features a comprehensive emergency department with 24 beds and advanced monitoring capabilities. The facility operates as a STEMI receiving center and provides three levels of emergency care: fast track, treat and anticipate disposition, and acute care. The emergency department maintains 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and pharmacy, with specialized staff including ER technicians and a dedicated charge nurse who focuses on unit management rather than direct patient care.
