• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job\n
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), 2 Central, 10 beds\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• End Date: March 2, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1260-$1350\n
• On-Site Position \n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Texas RN license or compact state nursing license\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n
• Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a 10-bed unit\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including RNs, LVNs, and CNAs\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech EMR system\n
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform essential nursing procedures\n
• Support post-surgical patient recovery and manage overflow from emergency department (ED) holds\n
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and dress code (scrub color per policy)\n
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for patients and healthcare colleagues\n
