Job Title: Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Facility: Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC), Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Overview: Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment, with a strong emphasis on microbiology and blood bank proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and transfusion services.
• Conduct plate reading, sensitivities, and organism identification (IDs) in microbiology.
• Collect, process, and analyze specimens with precision and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and quality control.
• Document and report test results accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required.
• Current certification as MLT (ASCP or equivalent).
• Must have microbiology experience.
• Must be proficient in blood bank procedures.
• Must be able to perform plate reading, sensitivities, and IDs.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent laboratory experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Travel contract position
• Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
