Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursery/Postpartum team. This position is ideal for a compassionate, highly skilled nurse who thrives in a family-centered environment and is committed to the care of newborns and mothers. This is a travel assignment requiring advanced certifications and specialized perinatal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates and postpartum patients in a supportive, nurturing environment.
• Monitor maternal and infant conditions and respond rapidly to changing needs.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Provide education and emotional support to new parents and families.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Active RN license (Virginia or compact state).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a nursery or postpartum setting.
• Certifications required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or higher certification
  • STABLE Program (for neonatal transport and stabilization)
