Job Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Labor & Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) for a long-term assignment (LTA) at ININD St V Anderson Hosp in Anderson, Indiana. The primary skill required for this role is RN Labor and Delivery . This position involves providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the entire childbirth continuum, from labor to delivery, recovery, and postpartum. This is a critical role to replace a contractor, and an ASAP start is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will work in our dedicated LDRPN Unit 001 , which is a 10-bed LDRP unit with a focus on maternal and newborn care. The unit supports approximately 30 births a month and operates a Level I nursery .

Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert nursing care to patients in labor, including continuous monitoring and assessment.
• Utilizing Fetal Monitoring skills to ensure the safety and well-being of the mother and fetus.
• Performing immediate post-delivery care for both mother and infant.
• Caring for mothers and newborns in the postpartum phase, including education on self-care and infant care.
• Collaborating with the OR team to assist with C-sections as required.
• Performing care within the Level I nursery environment.

 

Required Qualifications and Certifications

 

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience is required.
• Certifications: Active certifications are required in:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Fetal Monitoring

• Job Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA) / Contract
• Location: Anderson, IN, 46016
• Open Positions: 1
• Shift: Night Shift, 19:00 (7:00 PM) to 07:30 (7:30 AM)
• Duration: The contract is scheduled to run from November 30, 2025 , to February 28, 2026 . An ASAP start is available.
• On-Call: No on-call is required for this assignment.
