Position: Rehabilitation Nurse – Night Shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

Schedule:

• Night shift, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Every 3rd weekend (Friday & Saturday nights)
• Sundays considered part of the regular work week; some flexibility possible

Role Overview:
This position is for Inpatient Rehab. Responsibilities mirror a medical floor, except no Heparin drips. High neuro population—stroke certification is a plus, not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients/responsible parties
• Use nursing judgment to recognize and report patient condition changes
• Contribute to a healthy work environment by managing conflict professionally
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Participate in continuing education
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current Illinois RN license
• Current CPR/BLS
