\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient needs in a fast-paced environment. The RN will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and uphold best practices in nursing care.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide patient-centered care to individuals in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other clinical indicators.
\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care strategies.
\n
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
\n
• Must possess 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience prior to travel.
\n
• Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required.
\n
• AHA BLS & ACLS certification are required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
\n
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required to qualify for submission.
\n
