Job Details

• Position: Mental Health Coordinator
• Role involves planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
• Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.

Job Requirements

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.

Additional Details

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records for each person seen.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities for individuals in caseload.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
