Full job description

We're looking for an experienced RN with a strong background in pediatric triage work to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a outpatient setting and is familiar with the most common ailments. The successful candidate will be able to recognize common symptoms and take appropriate action when necessary. This position is vital to our company, as we handle the majority of customer calls that come in via phone, and your quick judgement about incoming cases will have a major impact on our efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Explain treatment methods to patients.
• Communicate with doctors and other healthcare providers.
• Treat injuries, illnesses, and communicable diseases.
• Provide first aid as needed.
• Gather information about patient's health history.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proficiency in vaccine injections
• Familiarity with EHR systems, specifically ATHENA
• Experience in outpatient settings and critical care
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage patient inquiries effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
