Position Overview

As a Cashier , you’ll be the face of Layne’s Chicken Fingers. Your main responsibility is creating an amazing guest experience from the moment they walk in. Every guest should feel like they’re attending a party we’re hosting just for them.

You’ll ensure guests receive their food quickly, have everything they need, and enjoy a clean, welcoming restaurant—all while having fun and being part of Layne’s unique, non-corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a memorable guest experience

• Keep the dining area clean, organized, and welcoming

• Clean and reset tables for incoming guests

• Restock condiments and supplies

• Assist with food prep as needed

• Work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous fast-food or customer service experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and people skills

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

• Ability to lift and carry 10–55 lbs

• Team-oriented, dependable, and positive attitude
