What will you do in this job?

Responsible for providing courteous, knowledgeable guest service to gift shop clients. Ensure gift shop

opening and closing procedures are followed in a timely manner. Perform all aspects of sales transactions

• Responsible for opening and closing gift shop and completing all shift paperwork
• Provide sales and guest service to gift shop clients
• Perform cash handling and accounting procedures to include verification and reconciliation of shift bank
• Perform sales transactions using Company systems
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking, including maintaining a list of restocking needs
• Clean and organize gift shop and restroom
• Perform other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• Excellent communication, in guest service, and telephone etiquette skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor; ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff, affiliated-company employees, and outside business associates
• Must be a self-starter capable of managing competing priorities and multiple tasks
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders
• High School Diploma and retail sales experience

The starting wage for this role is $18.75/hour.
