The Opportunity: Project Manager

Lead the construction and delivery of world-class hyperscale data center facilities in Virginia's premier data center corridor. This is a unique opportunity to manage large-scale, cutting-edge infrastructure projects that will power the next generation of cloud computing and digital services.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Location: On-site (Fauquier County, VA)
• Industry: Data Center Construction & Development
• Project Scale: Multi-million dollar hyperscale facilities

What You'll Do

Strategic Project Leadership:

• Provide overall management direction for construction projects and campuses, including plans, budgets, schedules, and controls
• Lead large-scale data center construction projects from initiation to completion
• Maintain close relationships with clients, tenants, and key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
• Lead and assist with estimating and budgeting for potential multi-million dollar projects

Operational Excellence:

• Work with general contractors and trade contractors to plan, organize, and direct construction activities
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Oversee and provide guidance to owner PM firms, junior Project Managers, and staff
• Monitor construction and financial activities to ensure proper project completion

Stakeholder Management:

• Initiate and maintain liaison with owners/tenants, owner PM firms, and other key contacts
• Represent the company in high-level project meetings and strategy sessions
• Work with the Vice President of Construction to manage contract financial aspects
• Develop proactive relationships with contractor and subcontractor communities

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure project quality control plans are implemented and followed
• Complete punch lists to customer satisfaction standards
• Review and ensure safety plans are in place and administered properly
• Submit projects for industry awards and certifications as appropriate

Project Control & Execution:

• Submit project change orders to clients within one week of request
• Complete and distribute meeting minutes within 72 hours of progress meetings
• Prepare and submit O&M manuals within 30 days of substantial completion
• Maintain proactive project monitoring through regularly updated schedules

What You Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional Project Management or Construction Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of construction management experience in comparable field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and P6 software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Competencies:

• Self-motivated with exceptional punctuality and reliability
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks with excellent follow-up skills
• Strong leadership capabilities and team management experience
• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
• Knowledge of data center construction is highly preferred
• Ability to interpret and explain complex plans and contract terms
