Correctional Supervising Cook, Correctional Facility

We are seeking a skilled Correctional Supervising Cook to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our kitchens within multiple correctional facilities across the great state of California.

$53,424.00 - $65,700.00 Annually

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
• Plan and coordinate meal production according to dietary guidelines and facility requirements.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards and food handling procedures.
• Monitor kitchen operations to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.

Qualifications:

Experience: Two years of experience in a supervisory capacity over cooks and other food service workers with responsibility for supervising and assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of various food items. and

Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
