The Position

At Bee Green, Delivery Drivers are responsible for performing safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials. Candidate must be knowledgeable of and compliant with all relevant State of California Regulations, federal regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle. Driver should be skilled in safely operating dump trucks (non CDL sizes, for example Ford F550 and/or Ford F650). Position requires good peripheral vision and depth perception while navigating difficult areas. Driver must also have excellent communication skills while interacting with customers. Driver needs to meet and exceed customer expectations and act in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers. Position requires candidate to be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking - must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy Landscape Supply Yard.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License
• Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years and be acceptable to be covered by company insurance carriers.
• Able to provide previous drug and alcohol information from any previous employers.
• Able to frequently exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc) objects more than 75 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, and legally eligible to work in The United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving delivery trucks (specifically trucks with dumping bed)
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to be able to perform minor repairs to vehicles, and miscellaneous equipment.

$22 - $25 an hour
