Job Description


We are seeking an experienced   DevOps Engineer in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD, GitHub, automation, and modern DevOps practices, with the ability to design and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and maintain   CI/CD pipelines   to support application builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage source control and workflow automation using   GitHub.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and application uptime.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with state agency requirements.
  • Support containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of professional experience   in DevOps or related engineering roles.

  • Strong experience with   CI/CD tools and pipelines.

  • Proficiency with   GitHub  (actions, repositories, workflow automation, version control).

  • Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Shell, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).

  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be   local to Austin, TX  (no relocation or remote).
