Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
This is a first shift position on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
The Electrical Assembler will need to adhere to the below requirements:
Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
You will verify results to ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as needed. You will perform electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, and installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components.
There will also be other duties and responsibilities to perfom as required.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years' work experience or equivalent experience
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings
Ability to become solder certified
Effective communication and teamwork
Experience with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team
A passion for learning
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
3+ years in electronic assembly
IPC-610/620 Certifications
Knowledge of AS9100 Production requirements
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52841 - $84545
