We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support senior leadership of a distributing company in Spartanburg. This role demands discretion, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex schedules and communications. The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison, ensuring the executive’s time is optimized and operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel
  • Coordinate logistics for board meetings, conferences, and company events
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the executive
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and requests
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication
  • Track expenses and assist with budget preparation and reporting
  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in executive-level administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion
  • Familiarity with HR and benefits administration is a plus
