*Overview*
RSCI is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both industrial and commercial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The Journeyperson Electrician will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contribute to various projects while demonstrating a commitment to quality workmanship.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose problems effectively.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, providing electrical expertise as needed.
* Ensure high voltage and low voltage systems are functioning properly and safely.
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
* Utilize logic controllers for automated systems to enhance operational efficiency.
* Perform frame carpentry tasks as required to support electrical installations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
*Skills*
* Proficient in electrical systems installation and maintenance, including both commercial and industrial applications.
* Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems.
* Experience with troubleshooting using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
* Familiarity with logic controllers for automated processes.
* Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as part of electrical installations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
