Job Overview

Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is seeking a highly experienced Lead Carpenter to bring craftsmanship and leadership to our residential remodeling projects. This role requires expert-level skills in rough and finish carpentry, especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and rec rooms. If you’re a pro at cabinet hanging, trim work, and leading field operations on-site, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled rough and finish carpentry on residential remodels.

  • Lead field work for kitchen, bathroom, and rec room renovations.

  • Accurately install and finish cabinetry, trim, and built-ins.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

  • Ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project managers.

  • Uphold company values of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service on all job sites.

  • Mentor apprentices or junior team members as needed.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling.

  • Mastery of both rough and finish carpentry, including cabinet hanging and trim finishing.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and layout skills.

  • Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
