Overview

Litigation Attorney (Contract and Remote) role at Latitude Legal. This is a remote, contract/engagement position open to California-licensed attorneys with civil litigation experience who can work part-time or full-time from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation tasks including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Engage in contract litigation work for a law firm on a flexible schedule.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to manage matters efficiently while working remotely.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience in litigation
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Licensed in California
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits

The annualized compensation ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 or more, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees with full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D, and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
