Job Description

Your mission is to lead and grow the parts department team while positioning the team and department for success and growth. This role in our busy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store is critical to our organization because timely availability of the proper part is crucial to the success of the service department and will result in high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Properly staff department; including hiring, training, and monitoring the performance of all parts department employees
• Work with the service department, manufacturer and wholesale account representatives to ensure the proper inventory is available when needed
• Work within manufacturer guidelines to make sure unused parts can be returned for full credit prior to obsolescence.
• Work within manufacturer guidelines to meet program goals to maximize all available factory incentives.
• Establish competitive pricing in various categories while generating profits and maintaining high CSI
• Determine appropriate inventory levels and ensure periodic parts turnover. Monitor and adjust stock to eliminate accumulation of unused or old parts.

Qualifications

• Previous parts department manager experience
• Be a leader that is willing to step in and get the job done whatever necessary
• A commitment to the entire fixed ops team and the customers
