Job Description Job Description Job DescriptionPrimary Function The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, completion, and financial outcome of construction‑management projects throughout their life cycle. This role includes mentoring project engineers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and ensuring performance and quality align with the project plan. Duties & Responsibilities Review specifications, identify required submittals, prepare submittal logs/schedules, and communicate scope changes. Identify long‑lead items and manage the submittal review process in line with CPM schedules. Coordinate job site setup and develop site logistics plans. Create, distribute, and maintain field inspection reports for each project. Review inspection reports and communicate deficiencies to supervisors and project managers. Maintain record drawings and document control logs to track project documents. Monitor weekly trade performance against project schedules, update delay logs, and provide team updates. Promote and enforce safety standards during all project activities. Conduct and document jobsite safety meetings, present safety topics, and maintain attendance logs. Read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Assist with job progression documentation (two‑week look‑ahead schedules). Prepare meeting minutes, agendas, and other project documentation. Develop proficiency in Procore and recommend improvements for software implementation. Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification prior to hire. Attend jobsite meetings as needed and record minutes. Schedule and attend all pre‑construction meetings required per subcontractor trade. Track and submit RFIs, ASIs, sketches, and other project documents. Skills RFI management Change order processing Construction management Submittals oversight Procore proficiency Subcontractor management Quality control OSHA 30 compliance Site construction Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Experience with self‑performing work is a plus. Pre‑construction or carpentry experience is beneficial. Experience Level Intermediate level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cheshire, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
