Job Description Job Description Job Title: Project Manager FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION FEEL FREE TO BOOK A MEETING: -H7-G6 Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee building projects from conception through closeout. The role focuses on managing budget, schedule, scope, and quality, while effectively leading project meetings and coordinating a diverse project team. Responsibilities Advise and consult with owners on building projects from conception through closeout, ensuring focus on budget, schedule, scope, and quality. Lead project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on open items. Manage a project team comprised of project controls, schedulers, estimators, and subject matter experts. Guide teams in reviewing design documents, constructability reviews, and value engineering studies. Coordinate and lead designer, contractor, and third‑party procurement efforts. Maintain master project budgets, develop cash flows, and advise owners on Estimate at Completion (EAC). Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance. Review and advise on project change orders, assessing impacts of change requests or delays on schedule and budget. Communicate project progress with clients, advise on project decisions, and assist in overall project strategy. Essential Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience in building construction. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of CT. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 7 years of experience managing projects from conception through closeout with emphasis on budget, schedule, scope, and quality. Experience with projects valued at $5M or more. Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Corrections (DOC). Additional Skills & Qualifications Residence in or around Central Connecticut (Hartford area). CT DOT project experience preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute to projects across Eastern and Central CT. Knowledge of Compass and/or Astro Project Management software is a plus. Civil Engineering degree – E.I.T or P.E. Work Environment This position is office‑based in an onsite trailer with a hybrid schedule. You’ll be part of a consolidated team of experienced professionals working on a diverse portfolio of large‑scale projects across the Northeast. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Glastonbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
