We are currently seeking a Senior IBM DataStage Developer - ONSITE to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Senior IBM DataStage Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM DataStage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting clients’ DataStage ETL application environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and support production issues, analyze and fix  Job failures and give permanent fix when possible.
• Collaborate with client stake holders and other teams including onshore and offshore.
• Implement changes as per customer requirements.
• Guide application deployments.
• Suggest improvements for better performance.
• Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work independently while being part of a bigger team.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of applications development experience in IBM DataStage.
• 5+ years of Linux Shell scripting experience
• 5+ years of working experience with SQL server

Desired Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in an onsite/offshore development environment
• A strong team player who is self-motivated, dependable, proactive, organized
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Candidate must be in East Coast region
• Occasional travel to client site may be needed
