This full-time position is for a Shipping and Receiving Generalist Technician at the North Brunswick site, reporting to JLL’s Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The role requires using independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse set of tasks during standard business hours. The candidate will provide a range of support services to JLL’s client and must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative team-player mindset. Responsibilities include performing all duties assigned by management including handling pallets and packages, keeping accurate records, packaging, and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments. Additional duties include cleaning bean-to-cup machines, restocking coffee machines and supplies, handling and delivering pouch mail, processing certified mail, processing paper deliveries weekly to 10 copy/mailrooms, processing and hand deliveries of all accountable mail to the customer, some computer work, handling customer phone calls/inquiries, maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and following prescribed safety regulations. The role requires conformance to applicable Good Manufacturing Practices requirements, strict attention to safety and quality, accurate and timely execution of activities, and strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborative work with other employees is necessary to achieve departmental and company goals. The position may require working with chemical and biological agents that may be hazardous to health if mishandled, requiring use of personal protective clothing/equipment. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Desired experience includes shipping and receiving, handling pallets, packages, and various mail types, preferably in a life sciences GxP environment, and experience handling chemical and biological agents safely. Required skills include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision, superior customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to lift, bend, move, and operate required equipment safely.
