Job Summary:

NES Fircroft is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to support a major EPC megaproject. This contract-to-hire role will initially be based in Mexico with a planned transition to Houston within 6–9 months. The Subcontracts Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subcontracts, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and mitigating commercial and execution risks across a complex, multi-phase project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts in accordance with project and company standards.

• Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and commercial terms.

• Collaborate with project teams, legal, procurement, and construction to resolve subcontract issues.

• Identify and mitigate subcontract-related risks, including claims, delays, and change orders.

• Support procurement strategy execution and assist in the development of project-specific procedures.

• Ensure accurate tracking of subcontract status, costs, and change management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in subcontract management on large-scale EPC or industrial projects.

• Demonstrated experience working internationally and managing cross-border subcontract packages.

• Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.

• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
