ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio on both day and night shifts
\n• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (days: Saturday/Sunday, nights: Friday/Saturday)
\n• Must work one major and one minor holiday
\n• Cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
\n• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required (within past 6 months)
\n• Telemetry experience required - must be able to read cardiac strips
\n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (maximum 2 attempts)
\n• Must pass Sim Lab on first day of orientation
\n• Must be able to titrate down only: Amiodarone and Cardizem
\n• Float to MedSurg Tele units B2C and B2D as needed
\n• May float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Must provide current driver's license upon submission
\n• Work with 32-bed unit serving orthopedic, surgical, and oncology patients
\n• 80% surgical patients, 20% oncology patients
\n• Handle 8-10 elective knee/hip surgeries per week
\n• Use Cerner charting system and GE monitors
\n• Two shifts of floor-specific orientation provided

The facility features specialized orthopedic programs with JHACO certification for knee and hip procedures, along with advanced surgical services including urological, abdominal, and women's surgeries. The medical center maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, with central monitoring stations and modern telemetry equipment to ensure quality patient care.
