Key Responsibilities:

• Formulation of colors using Akzo Noble colorants and coatings
• Creation of new finishing techniques that are "production friendly"
• Must be able to do ceruse, painted and weathered finishes to match samples
• Produce samples to match designer's samples with short lead times
• Research new finishing techniques
• Must be a self starter and willing to work additional hours as required
• Confirm that the correct finish is applied checking the paperwork for color and sheen and confirming that it matches the sample.
• Maintain spray equipment and work with the finishing group to maintain the Finishing department in accordance to our safety standards.
• Handle all hazardous materials in accordance with state and federal guidelines. This includes proper tracking of materials used.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of furniture finishing experience

A starting compensation range for this role is $22.00 - $25.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors. You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
