E-Commerce Marketing Developer (Magento 2 + GTM/Analytics + SEO)

Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

We’re expanding our marketing technology team and looking for a Marketing Developer who combines strong Magento 2 skills with digital marketing expertise. You’ll bridge the gap between development and marketing, helping us scale smarter and faster.

Position Overview

The Marketing Developer will work directly with the Marketing Manager and E-commerce Architect to implement and optimize front-end features, analytics, and integrations on our Magento 2 platform. This role blends technical web development , marketing automation , and data-driven optimization to drive better customer experience, cleaner tracking, and higher conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Magento 2 Development
• • Develop and optimize Magento 2 front-end themes, templates, and components.
  • Implement landing pages, custom forms, and UI updates that align with marketing campaigns.
  • Integrate and manage API connections between Magento, HubSpot, and advertising platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and fix front-end performance or SEO-related issues (indexing, speed, structure).
• Google Tag Manager / Analytics
• • Lead all tracking and analytics setup via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Build and maintain complex dataLayer configurations and conversion tracking.
  • Implement GA4, Google Ads, and server-side tagging for better data accuracy.
• Feeds & Ad Integrations
• • Maintain and troubleshoot product feeds for Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Catalog.
  • Ensure event tracking and pixel accuracy across all ad platforms.
• SEO & Site Optimization
• • Resolve large-scale SEO errors (4xx/5xx, canonical tags, indexing, sitemap structure).
  • Implement structured data (JSON-LD), meta tags, and schema for improved visibility.
  • Monitor site health and recommend fixes for performance and ranking issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Magento 2 development (front-end or full stack).
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and KnockoutJS/RequireJS in Magento.
• Expert-level Google Tag Manager and GA4 experience (dataLayer, triggers, custom scripts).
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and structured data implementation.
• Familiarity with API integrations , especially for ad and marketing platforms.
• Experience with Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Business Manager.
• Comfortable collaborating across marketing, eCommerce, and IT teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server-side tagging (GTM SS).
• HubSpot form and workflow integration.
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and page speed.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic PHP knowledge for Magento 2 module or layout integration.
