\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with varied start times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for night shifts
\n• Day shifts available at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, and 12:00 PM; night shifts at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
\n• Must be flexible with scheduling and work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Expected to work holidays as part of permanent staff rotation
\n• Patient ratios of 2:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
\n• Handle approximately 250 patient visits per day
\n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; trauma experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
\n• One day of floor-specific orientation provided
\n• Use Cerner PowerChart EMR system for documentation
\n• Scrub color requirement: Blue for RNs
\n• Work with 22 hardwired GE monitors both in rooms and at nurses station
\n• Treat various conditions including STEMI, cardiac cases, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and general emergency cases
\n• No floating required between units
\n• First to float policy applies
\n• BSN not required
Facility:
\nThis medical center operates a 24-bed emergency department without trauma bays, featuring separate fast track and main ER areas. The facility serves as a STEMI receiving center and provides comprehensive emergency care with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The emergency department is supported by MD, PA, and NP providers, along with ER technicians who assist with technical duties and security. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support diverse emergency care needs.
